You think you know everything about spring cleaning after our first set of tips? Think again! We got you covered with 7 more amazing spring cleaning tips!

Tip 1: Makeup Brushes

Wet the bristles with lukewarm water, place a drop of dish liquid, or soap into your palm and then gently massage the tips of the bristles in your palm. Rinse the bristles well. After that, gently shake over the brush into the sink to remove any excess water, and lay the brush down on a paper towel to dry.

Tip 2: Mattress

Keeping your mattress clean is an important and easy job to do. Regular cleaning can remove allergens, bacteria, dust, and reduce any odors. Make sure to wash your bedding often, vacuum every few months, and consider a mattress protector. 

Tip 3: Refrigerator

Sure, you clean your fridge’s interior shelves on a regular basis, but what about the rest? Just remove the door shelves and bins, and then clean them with soap and water to kill any food bacteria, and clear away any leakages.

Tip 4: Microwave

This simple trick will do the hard work for you. Place a big microwavable bowl in the microwave and fill it up with one cup of water, and add chopped lemon (or lime, or orange) or a few tablespoons of vinegar. After that, turn the microwave on high for a few minutes and when the liquid mixture starts to boil turn it off and let it cool down for 15 minutes before opening the door. Then, take the bowl out and clean the inside and outside with a sponge, and afterwards your microwave will look brand new!

Tip 5: Curtains

Simply put your dryer to work and then throw your pillows, curtains, and drapes into the dryer for 15 minutes on the “air only” cycle. To prevent any wrinkles, rehang immediately.

Tip 6: Medicine cabinet

If you keep a medicine storage, it’s best to check the expiration date two times a year. Makeup, skincare, and other personal care products do expire so when you think their time has passed throw them away.

Tip 7: Walls

Just a mixture of soap and water is perfect to clear scuffs, but for tough situations use the magic eraser (you can find it in your local supermarket). Otherwise, for anything too extreme break out the paint.
